Course Overview

The leading Level 3 Prehospital care qualification, Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF). Equipping first responders with essential life saving skills, exceeding HSE first aid requirements, it forms the first step of a progressive suite of prehospital care qualifications. You will fulfil the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at level D, gaining the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations. A perfect fit for individuals looking to work or volunteer as a first responder. This qualification is also suitable for law enforcement officers, firefighters, those providing medical cover at events, and those working in high risk environments including the military, power stations, agriculture and manufacturing.

  • What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?

    If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible. This can be done by emailing training@xlteam.co.uk or calling us on 0333 339 4620

    Our cancellation policy allows rescheduling without penalty up to 28 days before the course start date.

    Late cancellations may incur a fee.

    We can transfer you to a different course, a £25 transfer fee may apply. 

  • Do you offer group discounts for multiple bookings?

    Yes, we offer group discounts for businesses or organisations booking multiple places or arranging private courses.
